Orchard House is a pre 1850's historic home. It overlooks a small lake with a fountain. It sits on three private acres surrounded by gardens. Our gardens are featured in several Garden shows and tours through-out the year.
It is the perfect venue for small, intimate gatherings for up to fifty guests.
For wedding ceremonies: We offer two outdoor choices. The traditional aisle that leads to a wisteria covered trellis, or a wisteria laden pergola. We also offer a room for the bride and her maids to change and prepare. Rehearsals are allowed on a pre-arranged date.
For any gathering:
We have a large area that tables can be set up outdoors. You may rent a small tent but we do not provide or insure them.
If you prefer we can host up to 50 people inside for an appetizer reception. This is a large room with hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace, wainscoting and french doors. You may hire a licensed caterer if you prefer.
We provide the tables, chairs and white linens. We also provide white china, flatware and centerpieces.
We have onsite parking for up to 20 cars.
We are not licensed for alcohol and provide only bottled water, soft drinks, coffee and tea.
Soft music such as a three string trio is allowed for outdoor ceremonies and gatherings, but we are mindful of our environment and do not allow amplified music outdoors.
This is the perfect location for your next small, intimate gathering. Ideal for retreats, garden ceremonies, showers, meetings and photoshoots.
Please contact us regarding price. It is based on the time of year and the day. We do not do outdoor evening ceremonies, afternoon only.
