Paicines Ranch offers a variety of outdoor group and lodging facilities to meet a variety of needs. We have an indoor meeting facility to accommodate a group of 20-perfect for an off-site meeting, retreat, or workshop. We have three lodging facilities, each of which can accommodate from three to six persons, depending on sleeping arrangements. All our indoor facilities are non-smoking. Paicines Ranch is the perfect retreat for naturalists to enjoy birding, hiking, star-gazing, or just relaxing. Conveniently situated at the gateway to San Benito County's Wine Trail, one could plan for a day of wine tasting, then relax, enjoy the sunset and some of the most stunning views to be had in San Benito County.
The idyllic location for weddings, reunions, or private parties this historic ranch provides the perfect backdrop for any event. Our unique event venue is spacious enough to accommodate large groups, yet offers the ultimate in privacy for your celebration. Our facility offers the following amenities: ceremony and reception sites, flexible event start and end times, ample nearby parking, amplified music allowed (live or deejay), can choose a caterer to suit your needs, bring your own beverages, tables and chairs are provided and set up according to specifications, and guest cottage suite for the bride and groom. We have a large dance floor with adjacent stage and plenty of electrical power for music of choice. Our front lawn (traditionally used for ceremony) also has power at all four corners to allow for amplification of vows and/or acoustic or recorded music. We also provide plenty of outdoor lighting for events that last into the evening.
We are the site of the annual Food and Wine Tasting-a fundraiser held each September to promote and support adoption, foster care, and other health services for children and their families. Now a traditional social event, more than a thousand people attend each year-it's been held for more than 50 years!
