Our repertoire consists of over 7 hours worth of tunes: Calypso/Soca tunes from the islands, as well as favorite Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Harry Belafonte and Dock of the Bay/Boardwalk types of tunes. (And about 3 hours of Christmas tunes!)
The band has been together for over a decade and has played mainly corporate and country club gigs, hundreds of private pool parties, weddings, Opryland Hotel house gig for 3 years, many 'island' restaurants, many festivals and over 50 elementary and middle schools in the greater Nashville area.
...Pan In Harmony Steel Drum Band generates energy and excitement with authentic Caribbean steelpan music on steel drums (a.k.a. - steel pans) that are hand-crafted from 55-gallon oil barrels.
This dynamic band is comprised of up to six very talented musicians: two or three steel drummers, a rhythm section and an occasional vocalist.
