First - PAPA DOO RUN RUN has been performing continuously since 1965 - THAT'S OVER 4 DECADES! Second - They had a hit single in 1975 ("Be True To Your School", RCA). Third - They did 5 major tours with Jan & Dean as their opening act and back-up band throughout the 70'/s. Then in the 80's PDRR graduated to the Beach Boys, and performed and recorded with members of that band for the next 2 decades. Fourth - They performed as "Disneyland's Celebrity House Band" for 15 years. (1975-90). Fifth - On their own, PDRR has earned 2 Gold Records and in 1985, a Grammy nomination for their hit album, "California Project".
Today, PDRR's show is as exciting as it gets, rocking their audiences at about 100 dates a year, worldwide, and in the Fall of 2007, the band was honored to be inducted into the N. California / Silicon Valley Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
