Pearls events, LLC, is an event consulting, coordinating and planning boutique. West Michigan weddings are our specialty.

You can hire us for day- of coordination, partial planning, full event planning, and set- up only.

Grand Rapids, Michigan is where our offices are located, but our events take place all over the state.

Aletha Vandermaas has loved the wedding industry since first working in catering in 1998. Banquet serving, interning with a couture bridal designer in Chicago, dabbling in bridal retail and then planning her own wedding has lead up to Pearls Events.

Everything about weddings makes her smile, especially the gorgeous photography. After college, she got a "real" job in marketing. Fast forward four years: with the support of her amazing husband, she quit corporate America and is doing what she loves.
