Our experience with Photography by Imagine was nothing short of a disaster. The only reason I've given them any stars is due to the photographers. And, while this may seem to be a positive for the company, they were freelancers. Rick is one of the least
professional people with whom I have ever worked. He spent the entire first meeting explaining to us that he is not a salesman and that photography companies will say what they have to in order for you to sign, but then leave you in the lurch when it comes
to delivering services and product. As I anticipated, he was describing his own practices. It started with our engagement session. Due to poor communication, we had a difficult time scheduling the appointment. While this can happen with any business, it was
a telling sign of things to come. Rick informed us that we would have our proofs within a week or two from the shoot. We didn't. We missed the opportunity to use our engagement pictures for our save the date cards. One of his selling points was making sure
that the couple got all of the pictures that they desired, stressing the pre-wedding communication as the avenue to making this happen. After unanswered phone calls and unreturned messages, the so-called communication did not occur until my father-in-law emailed
Rick from his business email. We were told we'd receive our photos 4-6 weeks from the reception. We didn't receive the pictures for almost 4 months, missing out on using a photo for our Christmas card. Rick once again simply ignored communication attempts.
He only responded when I told him I was contacting the BBB. His response was smug, explaining we'd have to wait. When they were finally posted, another sarcastic response was sent to inform me. It was fewer than half our pictures. My wife ended up having to
go to a bridal expo on her weekend to ask where the rest were. They arrived in February. Very expensive. Poor service. Poor communication. Lots of waiting. Extremely frustrating.
