In addition to being a member of the Professional Photographers of Alabama, I have been photographing special moments for over 20 years in the Dothan, Alabama area.
Our studio specializes in children, families and weddings! I love working with people - especially children and their parents. Weddings are fun because of all the excitement and love surrounding the day. Everyone looks fabulous for weddings and the emotions create wonderful moments, and I love to capture the memories.
Working with families and children is always inspirational. Children are so carefree, it’s fascinating to watch families interact when they don’t know that I’m watching or shooting. I can appreciate the way a mother feels and what types of photos mothers cherish and what memories we as parents want to save of our children. Capturing family portraits for those on vacation is also enjoyable, watching a family while they are interact in a beautiful relaxed setting is so easy to photograph.
I enjoy outdoor photography because of all the beautiful landscapes and waterscapes. I have found people to be their most comfortable when shooting in natural or casual environments. Children are at their best, and happiest, when they are acting just like kids! Allow them to goof off and play with siblings, pets and parents.
