With a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education, Cello Principal, I have been a performing cellist since 2000 and have been studying the cello for almost 15 years. I have played in various areas of Chicago, Tampa, New York and South Carolina. I specialize in weddings, private events, dining events, funerals and so forth. I play all standard wedding pieces, including but not limited to the following:
Processional: Canon in D, Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin, Hornpipe from Water Music, Trumpet Voluntary, Air on the G String, La Rejousissance, Bist du bei Mir, Clair de Lune, Vocalise, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, Nocturne for String Orchestra (from Quartet no. 2), Gabriel's Oboe, The Lord's Prayer.
I am able to play most any piece desired, given proper time to find sheet music or create an arrangement.
I have also been a performing flutist for several years as well. My flute repertoire includes many of the same pieces as listed above. I have performed many events in which I have played both cello as well as flute.
I would absolutely love to be a part of your special day or event! For more information on rates and availability, please contact me via email or visit my website. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to speaking with you soon!
