Prospect Hill Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in the Appalachian Mountains just north of Boone/Blowing Rock, NC. We are in Johnson County, Tennessee, one of the last unspoiled areas east of the Mississippi River--easily reachable from most areas of the Southeast.
The area's natural beauty is the inn's best amenity. We are located in Mountain City, a small mid-century Tennessee town surrounded by mountain ranges, thousands of acres of Cherokee National Forest and scenic overlooks connected by barely traveled rural lanes. The inn is a short drive from pristine Watauga Lake, a wide variety of hiking trails, bicycling opportunities, horseback riding and auto touring. In winter go skiing, snow boarding or tubing.
