I hope to help you plan a ceremony that lifts up the romance of your relationship, the commitment you bring to each other and the power of love to sustain you. Couples who want a ceremony that is creative, expressive and elegant, traditional, yet vibrant with fresh and personal language will especially appreciate my services.
Since moving here in 1996 to be nourished by these mountains and their beauty, I have done many weddings around the region. I specialize in beautiful, romantic, mountain weddings that are relaxed, elegant and sacred. I often perform ceremonies at the Biltmore Estate and their many fine settings, as well as the Grove Park Inn, Richmond Hill Inn, Highland Lake Inn, Woodfield Inn, as well as many backyards, waterfalls and verdant pastures.
Many couples who feel a strong connection to their family religious traditions are touched by my ceremonies. One bride wrote, “Although our families come from diverse religious backgrounds, your ceremony was able to reach everyone." I have an M.Div, from Chicago Theological Seminary and I have served several Methodist, UCC congregations, as well as independent faiths. Couples who have no particular religious connections, or who come from diverse backgrounds, are also delighted with my ceremonies.
