The name of the company is Rhodo Creations, a rustically elegant wedding rental & custom furniture company. Bill Metes is the artist and owner; with his visions and diligence has become the pioneer of rustic wedding rentals. He uses rescued rhododendron, mountain laurel, and salvaged slabs of wood to build his pieces.

He has been placed on preferred vendor lists at Biltmore Estate, Grove Park inn, Richmond Hill Inn, Claxton Farms, Highland Lake inn, and Crest Center to name a few. He has sent his wedding arbor as far as Oregon and recently did a large wedding at Palmetto Bluffs, SC. His artistic ability to utilize the natural shape of the tree branches is truly inspiring. He is an alumnus of Penland School of arts creative capital team and currently a finalist for North Carolina Arts Council's two year grant.

His Furniture can be viewed throughout Black Mountain on Cherry Street at Seven Sister Gallery, McCosh House, and Black Mountain Iron Works. His furniture exhibits a natural flow with particular emphasis on spacing which separates his work from his competitors.
