The Sanders Mansion, the house of 14 gables, at Spring Hill Farm is the perfect destination wedding and conference center. Robert Miller, owner, has restored the 1910 home and 35 acres to create the backdrop for one-of-a-kind events and weddings.
You feel a part of the rich history the Mansion brings to the Valley. Erick Sanders, a Swedish immigrant, completed this elaborate Craftsman style house in 1910. He and his partners purchased 660 acres of farmland in the Green River Valley, on which they built the Standard Dairy, the Standard Mill and the house of 14 gables.
Constructed with lumber from the mill, the house features glass salvaged from the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition and bricks left over from the construction of the West Valley Highway. Many of the original light and bathroom fixtures are still in use, including the unusual wrap around shower in the master bath. Of course, the dairy, now Smith Brothers farm, stands today as an area icon.
