I understand that "picture time" can be stressful for both parents & kids. I work hard to make the session a comfortable & peaceful time that leaves you saying "that was fun" instead of feeling frazzled. When photographing children, I am very easy -going & patient, preferring to wait for the moment instead of trying to force a child into the perfect pose for the perfect portrait. I have found that the most special moments often occur best when not prompted, posed or scripted. I love working with children of all ages & spending a little part of each session just getting to know them. This allows me to capture more than just a picture, but a little personality as well.
For weddings & special events, we combine photojournalistic, creative, artistic & traditional style photography. The photojournalistic style focuses on capturing the peak actions & emotions & documenting the events of the day in an unobtrusive fashion. The traditional style emphasizes photographing the wedding party & family in traditional poses. By combining these styles, we capture the true day, the true emotions & memories.
