Sherry Finzer is a professional Pearl Flute Artist in Phoenix, AZ. Her artistic talent runs the gamut from classical to world, jazz, and pop music. She is available for weddings, corporate parties, and more. Sherry plays with a variety of musicians and can put together any type of ensemble for your event. Styles of music range from classical to pop and jazz standards.
In late 2006 she released her first solo CD titled "DESERT JOURNEY". This CD is a compilation of songs written by guitarists and composers Ric Flauding and Christopher Caliendo. The genres of these songs include latin themes, world and new age music. She has also recorded 2 CD's with former flute duo NRG!Duo, titled "UNLEASHED" and "WATERCOLORS, and is currently working on recording a relaxation/meditation CD.
Recently, Sherry has recorded 2 new CD's... Pasion Y Rosas, and Guitarra del Sol, with world-reknowned flamenco guitarist Diego Andres. The CD's are expected to be released in early 2009.
Sherry's versatility and dependability makes her in high demand as a performer in the Phoenix/Sedona/Tucson area. She performs regularly as a soloist and with several professional musicians, including guitarists Diego Andres, John Calvert (Radiant Sky), Jacob Tyler Lucas, and Ric Flauding, with harpist VeeRonna Ragone (Desert Fusion and dulce VAS), pianist Annie Moscow (Ivory Wind and Christmas Angels), flute duo FlutAZtic(Leslie Lewis), Trillium Flute Trio, and CAFE (Central AZ Flute Ensemble) and is available for weddings, corporate parties, concerts, etc. She can put together any type of flute ensemble, from solo flute, flute with piano, harp or guitar, flute duo, trio, quartet or flute choir for your event. Sherry also teaches private lessons in the Phoenix area, and at Music Maker Workshops in Ahwatukee.
