Silver Spoon catered our wedding this past May & I could not have been more pleased. I had searched for a caterer for many months with the help of my sister who is actually an event planner. So we were a bit picky to say the least. Craig, who is the owner
& the Chef, took the time to send me numerous menu revisions & talk everything through with me on the phone during the planning process. He took care of all the rentals & even provided recommendations on how much of everything we needed to stock the bar. The
Silver Spoon staff was just amazing on the day of the event. While my husband & I were off getting photos done during cocktail hour one of the servers came & found us to bring us hors d’oeuvres & get us drinks. I had allot of elderly guests at the wedding
and the Silver Spoon staff was kind enough to assist them all by getting them food from the buffet, drinks from the bar, and even escorting them from the ceremony to the reception under the tent. I just felt the staff was very genuine and caring towards all
of my guests. As for the food my family & friends are still raving. The parmesan cheese diamonds were a huge hit as were the bacon grissini hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour. We had a buffet with an elegant All American theme that included BBQ Chicken Breast
(presented in a way that was easy to eat & not too messy), home-style mac n cheese (my husband’s favorite), corn bread, a classic Caesar salad, a huge vegetable display (Craig said he was able to use allot of fresh local veggies that were in season from the
farms he purchases from), and a mashed potato bar with a bunch of really fun toppings. For dessert we decided to do an ice-cream sundae bar because it is fun & we had allot of kids at the wedding. Surprisingly the adults ended up loving the sundae bar more
than the kids. I was very thrilled to have found Silver Spoon Catering. I felt they truly cared about making our day really special. Thank you so much!!
