From weddings to birthday parties to fundraising galas, we specialize in doing it all. Yes it's true: we're even known to help sweep up when the party is over. From the beginning to the very, very end, we want everything to be perfect.
Okay, Simply Red Events, but only Red? Of course not! We thought Simply Red Events would be a great name for our company, not because we use red décor for all of our events, but because of what the color red represents. East, West, North or South, the color red represents something auspicious, exciting, or edgy depending on where you are. When it comes to finding a color or theme for your event, the choice is of course, simply yours.
Who is behind Simply Red Events? Simply Red Events was founded by Sima Thakkar. Sima is a seasoned event specialist with several years of event planning experience. Her event planning experience began in college when she planned events for several organizations at her university. She continued to plan several events for friends and family members while working in marketing and event planning in New York City for Warner Music Group, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. and briefly at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. She then relocated to the Bay Area, where she has continued to coordinate several types of events, such as fundraising galas and social events.
