Aloha! I am Cindy Smart and my husband Randy and I are the owners of Smart Chef Hawaii, on the west side of the Big Island. We are personal chefs and provide service for special occasions and for regular weekly meals.
My mother was a great Southern cook, as was my grandmother. I spent long hours in their kitchens and I have loved to cook since before I got my Easy Bake Oven in 1970. My father was a cook in the military and then ran restaurants until he retired. I worked in those and many other restaurants through the years.
Randy is from the Napa, California area and he and I have traveled and honed our cooking style and recipes together over the last 23 years.
Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance and we are committed to meeting those needs. We are grateful that a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
