Since the day I first picked up a camera, an old plastic thing with the giant square flash bulb extending into the air, I was hooked. A lot has changed on the technical side of photography, but many things remain the same; the desire to photograph something new each time I push the shutter release and the enjoyment I see in people's eyes when they look at the photographs I have captured for them.
Candid photography or photojournalistic coverage of events such as weddings, graduations, retirements or births to location or studio shoots for portraits. I love it all, every day, every shot.
Each time there is a new breakthrough in photography, digital imaging, gallery-wraps, software, I dive in head first and see what new and exciting look can be created. At the same time, I keep the tried and true in the arsenal so that the creativity is balanced with experience.
