I am an event planner and consultant in Denton, Texas. I coordinated my first major event when I was a senior at Lake Dallas High School and was the Texas State President of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. After a year of planning the State FCCLA Meeting and seeing it successfully come to pass, I was hooked on event planning. I have been doing the event planning gig in one way or another ever since, about 9 years. I also have a degree in Health Promotion and Marketing from the University of North Texas.
I have many years of experience planning recreational, non-profit, corporate, and private events as well as festivals, receptions, and weddings. I started my own event planning business, Something to Celebrate, to help others have amazing experiences in their lives through special events. I believe I have been given the ability to plan events to help others truly enjoy their special occassion instead of be so exhaused and stressed by the time it arrives that they are miserable during the event.
