We offer Paul Sanchez and his Rolling Road show. Paul Sanchez, formerly of Cowboy Mouth, shares the stage with other New Orleans All Stars. Two of the regulars include Sonia Tetlow and Mary LaSang, both former members of Cowboy Mouth. David Torkanowsky usually holds down the keyboard position, and drummers include Eric Bolivar (Bonerama) and Raymond Weber (Dumpstaphunk, New Orleans Social Club). Ivan Neville, Keith Richards’ favorite B3 organist, is available as a special guest artist. Shamarr Allen on trumpet, and Craig Klein, James Andrews and Big Sam on trombone have also been known to blow audiences away at a Rolling Road Show.
The New Orleans Jazz Vipers are a seven- piece swing band. The band's repertoire comes from the likes of Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Dicky Wells, Benny Carter, and Count Basie. The Vipers' music appeals to audiences of all ages. To quote the review of their latest CD in offBEAT Magazine: "Above all else, these are cool musicians, fully cognizant that less is more and that jazz...is dance music."
Six weeks after Hurricane Katrina, Grammy nominated producer Leo Sacks and multiple Grammy- winning Ray Bardani assembled The New Orleans Social Club, a dream team of New Orleans musicians: Ivan Neville on organ, Henry Butler on piano, and Leo Nocentelli on guitar and George Porter, Jr., who assumed the mantle of musical director, on bass. Rounding out the quintet is Raymond Weber on drums.
Doc Gibbs and Picante, a.k.a the Emeril Live Band. Doc Gibbs is one of the most sought after percussionists in the music industry today. Whether he's recording, touring or kickin' it up a notch with Emeril Lagasse. Doc operates on an audience with funky rhythms and with his vast assortment of traditional and unusual percussion instruments.
