Laura is very talented at putting together a program which is varied in style, sound & genres. For example: a Bach Minuet sounds great on harpsichord setting. "Fur Elise" is wonderful on grand piano setting. "Canon in D" is beautiful on Strings. The Wedding March is great on organ setting.
An extensive repertoire of song styles from the 20's through the contemporary sounds of today enables Laura to create whatever theme or mood you are wanting. She does both Traditional & Non Traditional weddings, traveling a 350 mile travel radius from her home base in Fort Worth, Tex. She is rapidly becoming the most sought after pianist for wedding ceremonies & receptions in the area. Laura has traveled to 43 towns & cities across the state of Texas playing, both wedding ceremonies, reception & other events.
Recently, she added a special category to her wedding venues to include Gothic weddings. A broad repertoire of Goth (classical & contemporary music) is available for this most dramatic theme.
Often times, Laura rearranges a piece of music to make it artistically her own. The melody still comes through, but lovely embellishments are added to create the sound that everyone loves. She makes sure to customize the sound to fit the style, genre & mood of a musical selection.
