Glynda is our bass player. She's from the Memphis, Tn. area. She is blessed with great timing, probably due to the fact she spent 10 years as a ballroom dance director and instructor. She is the glue that holds the band together. Lynda is our lead Gospel singer, plays mandolin, and sings harmony. She was on the road for several years as a solo artist performing for churches and gospel shows thru out the south and eastern USA. She has recorded several CD's. She is from Missouri.
Kenny is our lead singer, plays guitar and sings harmony. Kenny is from Virginia and has been active in Bluegrass music for many years. He was a law officer with the Sheriff's Department before retiring at the early age of 50. Don Doggett plays dobro, sings lead and harmony. He also hails from Tn. He was a career Army Chaplain and spent two tours in Vietnam. Don started playing the Dobro after he retired and he says that it has opened up a whole new world for him and he is having the time of his life.
John West hac recently joined our group as our Banjo player. He also sings lead and tenor harmony. he hails from Mich. and we are proud to have hin as part of our group.Rich Jones plays mandolin and sings lead/harmony. He is originally from Michigan and is married to Glynda. Ron Rhodes is our sound man. He comes from a well known family of musicians. His Dad, Dusty Rhodes, was a great fiddle player, and Spec Rhodes, his uncle, performed for many years on TV with Porter Waggoner. He's also from Mo. and is married to Lynda.
