Welcome and thank you for visiting Stormy Eyez Photography!

I am originally from beautiful Cape Town, South Africa and I have been living in Baltimore, MD for the last twelve years. Art and photography, as well as horses, have inspired me since I was a child.

I was blessed to find my horse Beau five years ago and I learned how to break him myself. He is an amazing part of my life and now anyone can ride him including small children! He has inspired me to take many photos of him (and other horses/animals) and to explore my passion for photography. I love doing natural equine and pet photography, as well as portraits of people, but I enjoy taking all kinds of photographs. I am always looking to try different things because as I learn and improve my skills, all my clients will benefit!

Formal training includes a Commercial Art Degree which included photography classes where I learned everything from developing the film to producing top quality prints in the darkroom. Today, my choice is digital photography, due to the convenience and speed of reproducing photographs, and the ease of retouching/adding special effects.
