This charming Dutch Colonial meeting center is perfect for a small wedding that wishes to have both the ceremony in a Chapel and a reception in one site. It has the feeling of a home wedding, but with lots of space.
The Spring Street Park across the street offers open space for events to break into and all new playground equipment. The park has just been upgraded with new grass and a irrigation system.
The building is a historic building on Capitol Hill and the main structure is over 100 years old. The organization, Subud, is an inter-faith group who welcomes people of all religious backgrounds.
There is also two kitchens on two levels that have all new appliances and perfect for caterers to prep and warm food.
A disabled bathroom has been added to the reception hall with a ramp on that level.
100 chairs are onsite. 8 rectangular tables are available for use. Additional tables must be rented by the client.
There is onstreat parking in the area and for larger events Seattle University parking can be used and is three blocks south of the center.
The Meditation Garden just installed offers a great backgroud for photos and features a rare 35 year old Japanese maple.
No AV equipment is onsite and should be rented from an outside vendor if needed.
