With over 20 years of performing experience, Tyler "Tater" Bechtel has entertained thousands of people across the U.S. and internationally in ten different countries. As a 1993 graduate of Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey Clown College, Tyler created the rascal character, "Tater A. Peal". A lovable young and imaginative prankster who is apt to amaze any audience. Jump back in time with Tater to the height of the circus in America. Watch as he performs "dangerous" tricks and balances atop a unicycle or stilts. Laugh as he entertains with his unique blend of skill and physical comedy!
Growing up just outside the tiny town of Boring, Oregon, this clown had to find a way amuse himself. His choice of juggling as an alternative to after school TV, grew into a passion that quickly evolved to include balloon art, unicylcling, stilt walking and physical comedy. Now, trained by the best teachers at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College and with 20 years and thousands of shows under his belt, Tyler continues to amaze friends he meets along the way. Tyler is hard working and creative, a fact evidenced by his 3,800 mile record setting unicycle ride!
