The downstairs bar of Tavern 245 has a 40 person capacity and is smoking friendly. The décor emits a classic 50's lounge with a large, cozy leather sectional and wingback chair anchoring the back of the space with interesting lighting and modern art throughout.
The upstairs space was described by Bob Batz at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as, "an expansive, airy space with funky greenish concrete floor and mod windows opening to the street and that [Tavern 245's] giant sign."
