The Abbey, dating back to 1910, was a former Episcopal Church and is the only Classic Revival structure still in existence in San Diego. Hornblower Cruises & Events is proud to be associated with this extraordinary venue that merits the distinction of placement on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as nationwide acclaim for design excellence. Although seating has been renovated to accommodate 800 people, the essential design and features of the church have remained. The wood has been refinished, light fixtures reproduced in the same craftsman style and the original stained glass windows remain untouched. Hornblower Cruises & Events has built its reputation over the past two decades through meticulous attention to detail and a firm commitment to providing guests with a truly memorable experience.
