The ONLY things that I can compliment on this place is the food was amazing and the venue was beautiful!! So here is where my problems begin. If you are thinking of having your wedding/reception out here, I STRONLY recommend you keep these in mind. Kathy
is the owner. She was fine to deal with up until the day of the event. We had our reception out there and after we were done with photos, we still had a bus load of 50 people on there way out there. So we wanted to wait to make our grand entrance. Kathy came
out yelling at us, very confrontational and rude "We are having dinner at 6:15 and we will not wait for anyone (not even us, the bride and groom) so you need to do your entrance now!" It was only 6:00 and the other bus was 10 mins away. Once we got inside
we mingled a little and then were called to our seats for dinner. Everything was fine during, but after, not so much. Kathy will tell you a million times during planning that she is worried about her liquor license and she will not tolerate over drinking guests.
However, she was not worried about her license when her bartenders were drinking OUR DRINKS AND CHARGING THEM ON OUR TAB. This is known 100% because our guests have told us they were seen trying to hide their drinks when we/guests came around. I am not the
only bride to experience this, according to more brides they have also had the same issue with them charging their drinks on their tabs. We know someone who knows one of the bartenders whose name is Mandy, in which she bragged about how she loves weddings
who put a lot of money down at the bar. We put $3,000 down towards it. 45 mins left of the reception we checked on the tab, we had $600 left and only about 30 people there still. 45 mins later we went to get what was left over. Kathy told us it was all gone.
$600 GONE IN 45 MINS OF 30 PEOPLE???? I dont think so. Kathy stole from us yet again. After the event we were suppose to get ALL of the left over food to take home with us. We paid for it. It was ours, and Kathy will tell you this during the planning. However,
we did not receive any of it. The same bartender, Mandy, also bragged about how they had more food to take home than they could ever eat. So instead of us getting what should have been ours, they took home to their families. They were also photographed by
a guest eating our food back in the kitchen before we were even served. The staff is known to take home all left over food or take most of it and only give you one tray of left overs after they take what they want. They pull their cars out back to put it in
their seats without guests or you seeing them. One more MAJOR thing. WATCH YOUR GIFT/CARD TABLE! They insist on putting it right by the door and will not place it any where else, not even if you want it moved away from the door. Multiple brides have had cards
and even gifts come up missing. Kathy's mother for whatever reason was at our reception. Our guest's said she was by our gift/card table all night, circling it and looking into our bags and card box. Some of them took pictures of her doing so. These are just
the serious things that went wrong during our reception. Don't waste your money here, it is basically going to be stolen from you. The only thing worth doing it is for the food and the place, which had I of known what I do now, I would have went else where.
