The Foundry, L.I.C. is a dramatic 19th century architectural masterpiece. Once known as The Albra Metal Company, the space has been meticulously restored to its charming industrial character. Many of the original features have been restored and refined aesthetically, including The Foundry's actual melting cauldrons, chimney shafts and brick archways.
The wraparound mezzanine and 40' skylight opens the space in new and unique ways that leaves a lasting impression on your guests. Our ivy- covered courtyard can be customized to fit any type of event, whether it is a formal tented rehersal dinner or a hip intimate wedding reception featuring our always popular fire pit.
The Foundry easily lends itself to the feel of an exclusive after- hours nightspot, with space available for your DJs or bands to play in from either the ground floor or mezzanine. The 1,000 sq. foot kitchen is outfitted with all the major necessities for your caterer including a separate ground- level loading entrance. Other features include a doorman, ample parking, DVD projector, Steinway piano, outdoor elevated terrace, and climate control.
