Jazz guitar styles in America have evolved throughout the 20th century with such greats as Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Johnny Smith and many. The jazz duo style of guitar playing in America is a style that is hard to find, but not extinct.

Ben Haynor and Dennis Hitchcox have carried on this rare style of jazz, while providing Northwest audiences with the old jazz standards, European classics, and Latin American themes. The use of bass lines, chords, strumming styles and melodies between the two guitarists provides the illusion that more that two instruments are being played.
