We are the newest special events facility in the Charleston area. This 1930's former commanders home has been restored to it original glory and is in the Riverfront park with the Cooper river flowing past. The downstairs is a bar and lounge area in an atrium like setting.
You can rent this space and the outdoor stone patio that has park and river views. We can accomidate most any size tented event on our grounds. The upstairs is home to the Runaway Bay Restaurant serving upscale authentic Carribian fare. The upstairs has an open and airy feel with the large continuious windows on all walls that give a 360 degree view of the river and park.
You can rent this level that has the main dinning room with three side rooms seperated by french doors or you can rent the whole 5,000 sq ft home and the outdoor grounds as well. On site catering and WIFI makes this a perfect venue for everything from a corperate event to a low country insipred wedding.
