The Majestic Theatre is conveniently located in downtown Madison, just a block from the Capitol. It first opened in 1906 and has been declared a Wisconsin historic landmark. The interior of the theatre has been beautifully remodeled and modernized while maintaining the original character of the building, preserving the Neoclassical Revival style of the gold-gilded stage and 1950s-style entrance and marquee.
The Majestic Theatre is a versatile, multi-purpose venue that can be modified to suit any occasion, with a tiered main floor including a spacious bar and lounge, the upper balcony and Marquee Room, and, of course, the elevated stage area under the decorative proscenium arch. We can accommodate parties large (up to 600) and small in a great variety of formats tailored to fit your specific needs and your budget.
