The Pine Needles were born out of a love for mountain-style string band instruments and the musical textures they afford. The band members bring a wealth of diverse musical experience into the string band sound. The group draws on American roots, modern folk, jamband, gypsy jazz, bebop jazz, world, acoustic rock, popular, and old time styles.

When The Pine Needles play parties, they play for the event and the room. The group always puts the audience first. Don't be surprised to find yourself lost in this enchanting acoustic band's unique, warm sound.
