Welcome to the place on the internet for the premier highland bagpipe group in Kansas. We are a small bagpipe band but we make up for our numbers with quality piping. We have performed in renaissance festivals, parades, weddings, funerals, parties, civic ceremonies, memorials, banquets and charity fundraising events and are available for almost any type of function.

Founded in 1998 by Pipe Major Ian Briggs, The Saltire Pipers began as a pipe band called The Royal Scottish Pipers, and were the official pipers for The Royal Scottish Company, a Scottish restaurant and goods business owned by Emma Dillinger. Throughout the years, The Saltire Pipers have strived to provide the best bagpiping offered in Wichita and throughout Kansas.
