The Sound Source began operation in 1987. And although TSS has gone through some changes over the years, the one thing that has remained consistent is its steadfast enthusiasm for customer service. From fairs and festivals to corporate events, TSS can handle all of your technical needs: sound, lighting, audio-visual, backline, retail, repairs, installations and consultation.
After twenty-one years and having proven that it is not just another fly by night endeavor, The Sound Source continues to strive for excellence. In 2003, TSS moved its warehouse into a new facility in New Orleans, one large enough to house its ever expanding inventory...we thought. As we continued to expand our inventory to meet our clients ever changing needs, a second warehouse facility in Metairie, La. was added to house this new gear. As we approached 2010, with both warehouses full, we were on the hunt for more space. In February of 2010, we found a new home that was large enough for all of our staff and equipment.
