Founding member and legendary singer, songwriter, and slide guitar player, Terry Eckard has been working with this band for about two years touring the southeast after the release of their CD 'Angelene.' The band has now reached the point of delivering high energy performances of their original music. You must hear and see to truely appreciate their distinctly original Rock & Roll sound.
Known as the King of Southern Boogie, Angelene, Terry's debut album hits ya like one too many shots: ight in the chest! His driving boogie style, sweet blues and slide playing set him apart from rest. Add lyrics that send ya back, "ya been there" and you'll be hooked! Rebel on the Highway, Terry's latest CD, is a none stop ride down a winding mountain road. You'll want to jump right back on at the end!
Raised in North Carolina, Terry's writing comes from his own years on the road, traveling and gigging throughout the south. You just try to dance non- stop to either album... then you'll know why Terry Eckard is the King of Southern Boogie! Terry's writing credits include a song recorded by Copperhead for their second album, live & lost - Raging Fire. Terry has headlined a number of concerts and is considered by many to be one of the best slide guitar player's in the South.
