The University of Central Missouri's park - like campus spans 1,500 picturesque acres in the heart of the Midwest. Located just 45 minutes from suburban Kansas City, Warrensburg offers a safe, friendly, small - town environment. Our unique blend of suite - style residence hall housing, gymnasium space, and meeting rooms allows us to specialize in summer camps and conferences for up to 3,000 participants.
Our Elliott Union has more than 19,000 square feet of meeting space available throughout the year. It includes the Sandra Temple Elliott Ballrooms, which feature vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, and a stage. The ballrooms can be used as one space (up to 550 guests banquet - style) or can be split into three separate rooms. There are 13 additional meeting and breakout rooms available in Elliott Union to accommodate meetings and conferences of all sizes.
Our Alumni Memorial Chapel, adjacent to the Elliott Union, provides the perfect space for weddings with up to 200 guests. Outdoor weddings for up to 120 guests are available on campus at the iconic Friendship Tower on campus. For receptions, packages in the Elliott Union are available complete with sound systems and dance floors.
Our on - site catering partner is Sodexo. Sodexo offers a variety of menu options for every taste and budget - from simple box lunches to exquisite five - course meals.
UCM also has recreational opportunities available including a climbing wall, indoor swimming pool, a golf course, and a 10 - lane bowling alley.
