We are "Velvet Groove Band", based in Bloomington, IL. We have, individually or collectively, played at venues all over the state and, in Jim Bland's case, nationally. We perform primarily 50's-early 70's material, in addition to a large repertoire of Elvis Presley.

Our usual fee is $350 - $2000 for a 4 hr. performance. This depends on distance traveled outside Bloomington/Normal, and is of course negotiable.

Jim Bland: Lead Guitar (Formerly of The Spectors)
Brad Reside: Rhythm Guitar/Bass (Formerly of White Buffalo)
Todd Asper: Drums (Mighty Groove Trio)
Curt Kessler: Vocals/Bass Guitar (formerly of Black Velvet & Straight Talk)

Pricing        $250 - $1200, depending on event length and distance traveled.
