Vérité (vair-i-tay) comes from the French filmmaking term "cinema vérité," which translates to "film truth." At Vérité Imaging, our goal is to create truthful, artful documentaries of your event. Often times companies are distracted by the technical aspects of their productions, focusing more on making everything look "slick" than your actual "story." At Vérité, we strive to create natural, organic pieces that capture real emotions rather than overly-produced, pseudo MTV-style videos.
The key to this is Duane Graves, who operates the business with his wife Shara. Graves is an award-winning director and documentarian who has received international acclaim for his works. Graves studied film at UT Austin before settling in his home town of San Antonio.
He has over a decade of experience in the business, and his movies have been distributed or broadcast by such prestigious companies as IFC Films and The Documentary Channel. He is also a professional editor who, having worked for Apple Computer for many years, is proficient in all Mac hardware and software.
