Although there are many causes for celebration, we choose to focus on the milestones in life which we feel are personally defining; for example, having a child, getting married, turning thirty, turning fifty, surviving breast or ovarian cancer, and so on. For most women, these events are so much more than just a reason for celebration; they are a rite of passage. They are the experiences that capture who we are in the present and shape who we are to become in the future; the type of experiences which can never be duplicated.
