Tina was sweet at the beginning and was always very kind and willing to help. But she never initiated meetings, she was also a decorator for my table pieces; she never showed me anything before the wedding. She didn't even have a list of her inventory
so i wasn't sure what i actually needed to buy on top of her services. On the night of the rehearsal, she showed up in jeans and a tee. Wasn't professional at all and it was up to me (the bride) to get things going. Then she ran it through once and was gone.
It wasn't very well thought out or organized. She hadn't gotten all the information on the groomsmen and bridesmaids before, so she asked me last minute on the night before my wedding. She was also extremely hard to get a hold of. The morning of the wedding,
she had told me she needed the groom and the groomsmen there at the venue at 9am sharp. She didn't show up till 10:45. She didn't have a team and messed up our schedule of events for that day because she was so late. The mother of the bride came up with a
very detailed layout of how the reception table were supposed to go after the ceremony (we flipped the room). The sweetheart table was supposed to be front and center. We ended up being in the back of the room in a corner and guests didn't feel like they could
come up to us because of it. The tables aside from the sweetheart table being ignored were crowded and again not in the right spot. To end the evening, she had tried to throw away my bouquet we wanted to save and preserve. Completely unacceptable. She hadn't
even asked if we wanted to save it. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone seeing she didn't deliver what she promised. The quality just wasn't there. I wasn't impressed. Very unprofessional and unorganized.
I was recently a guest at a very dear friends wedding, who had hired Tina Pope. Tina was so underdressed (red baggy t-shirt and old blue jeans) that I first thought she must be from a cleaning company. The bartenders and caterers from Babe's chicken looked
much more professional. I was told she was the wedding planner. In the middle of the reception, she was showing potential clients around the banquet room. I was shocked that she was focused on trying to get another job while she should have been focused on
the Bride and Groom who had hired her and where paying for her time. I would NEVER recommend her for any event...especially for one of most important events in a couples life. Tina, you were a disappointment and you should be ashamed.
Terrible experience!!! If you are a mom who wants to enjoy 100% the last time with your daughter don't hire Tina Pope. Your event won't be stress-free and the "after taste" would be even worse. At our event she cared more about "her stuff" and "leaving
earlier" than anything else. She wasn't available when we needed her. She didn't follow our plan because she never got involved. She would say: "i got it"... doing nothing. She is very good at selling herself. She tells you that you will get advantages at
the Cotton Mill if you hire her. We only got a list of vendors that you can get from any website or the Venue will include. This is a main event in anyone's life. Think carefully before hiring Tina Pope. There are so many wedding planners out there. Why to
risk it with Tina??
I was in the bridal party for a wedding that Tina did. On top of it being very poorly organized she was way under dressed (wearing a bright red tee with her advertisement and jeans). She was meeting with potential clients during the reception and bringing
them in with guests. The decor was sub par and there were many other details she did not take into consideration as the wedding planner. I would never recommend her to anyone and as soon as I let everyone who was involved in the wedding know about this site
there will be plenty of negative reviews!
I was very displeased with the services provides by Tina Pope. We payed her a large amount of money for one day of work and she was difficult to work with and many of my bridal party girls complained. Some of the guests also mentioned that she was way
under dressed. She was wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I am usually a very positive person and I can't remember the last time a have a bad review, but I am upset about the amount of money we spent for a lack of services.
