My specialty is finding the common spiritual ground between two people, two backgrounds. If the couple is from two different faith communities, varied religions, we find the common thread and weave them together into a foundation of love and understanding. Often the couple have left their family religions behind and have their own felt sense of a belief.
From God to Higher Power, Great Spirit or a belief that all beings, all nature are connected. We discover a love that is shared and honored by each. The "spirit" may simply be their belief in one another. Which is a powerful thing in our troubled world.
I believe their exists in all of us, a spirit. That part of us which wants to find a purpose, a meaning in our life. A marriage is a very special honoring of bringing two special individuals into a relationship of mutual support, acceptance, compromise, understanding and love.
My joy is in watching this love develop and witnessing their mutual respect.
I honor and respect all relationships and all faiths, I have studied all of the great religions of the world. I am qualified to perform varied religious ceremonies as well as those that choose to be "civil" or non religious. But prefer spiritual, as I am a non denominational minister who honors all faith backgrounds.
